Do not self diagnose – taking supplements that your body does not need can cause more harm than good.
Before introducing new supplements to your routine be sure to speak with your healthcare professional, especially important if you are taking prescribed medications
Take a high quality multi-vitamin/mineral supplement; you really do get what you pay for, not all supplements are good quality. Choose a whole foods, good quality vitamin without binders, fillers or other additives.
Take your supplements with food and water unless instructed to do otherwise,
Supplements cannot take the place of a nutrient dense diet. Ensure you are getting adequate protein, whole grains, lots of colourful fruits and vegetables, and healthy fats every day.
